Tips. I'm wondering how this is legal, considering that the pokemon are owned by nintendo. Fanfiction has encountered problems with intellectual property law due to usage of copyrighted characters without the original creator or copyright owner's consent.

Category artwork (digital) / fanart. Outsource your fanart project and get it quickly done and delivered remotely online. Most wont prosecute unless you are deliberately selling directly copyrighted material bootleg style merchandise.

I've never gone to a convention before and i know it's illegal to sell fanarts because you aren't the owner of the characters, but i know a lot of people are selling prints in conventions and websites.

Prints, buttons, tee shirts, key chains, hats, tote bags—i even saw captain american mittens at the last show i attended. Furry wolf furry art cartoon man cute cartoon wolf character character design furry comic furry drawing animals. And by fan art i mean merchandise featuring characters the artist does not own: Is it legal to print these drawings on shirts and sell them for profit?
